What is an authentic Montessori approach, and why is it important for everyone?
How can it be connected to a Montessori-inspired path within Italian public schools?
And if an authentic Montessori approach is shown to us, what opportunities can arise for transforming and improving any other non-Montessori activity taking some elements from Montessori, without pretending to be a proper Montessori environment, in school or in family or other settings?
In this convention we are going to focus on public school implementations of the Montessori approach. However, we would also like to engage with a broader audience — not only teachers and school staff.
When we can see a deeply authentic Montessori approach, educators, cultural operators, administrators, researchers, fundraisers, patrons, sponsors, parents, civil society, can recognize the amazing power Montessori holds to transform and develop any situation.
Organizers
The convention is organized by Associazione Montessori Chianti, together with the City Hall of Greve in Chianti and Greve in Chianti School Administration, S.I.S.U:S. (Italian Society for human sciences).
EducazionePace is the community dedicated to promoting a peaceful approach to human development. It is hosted by Associazione Montessori Chianti and curated by Lucio Varriale.
The Convention will be held in Italian.
